Research into Effects of Shrimp Aquaculture by Extensible Mind Mapping

Today’s worldwide consumer value shrimp as a high-protein aquatic food. As the demand for shrimp increases, traditional fishing methods fall short of the ability to produce enough shrimp for demand. In consequence, shrimp aquaculture industry emerges as the demand requires. However, the troubling question is that although farmers can earn high revenues from farming shrimp, the risks of raising the shrimp are also very high. The contradictory problem is the value of shrimp versus the potential costs of producing it, that is value versus risk. This paper focuses on this contradictory problem with the method of Extenics theory and mind mapping.
