An Environment for Requirements Specification and Analysis of Real-time Software Based on Timed Petri Nets

Abstract EEPN (Enea Extented Petri Nets) is a prototyping environment for real-time process control system requirements specification. Its major components are : a specification model based on Extended Petri Nets, a graphical editor for net construction and a simulator with animation support. The environment, implemented in an object-oriented programming language, is available on IBM-PC.
