Gesichtssinn und Oculomotorik

Elektromagnetische Strahlung, deren Wellenlange zwischen 400 und 750 nm liegt, nehmen wir als Licht wahr. Die fur uns wichtigste Lichtquelle ist die Sonne. Im bunten Spektrum des Regenbogens ist das gelblich-weise Licht der Sonne in seine spektralen Teile zerlegt: der langwellige Teil des Lichts erscheint uns rot, der kurzwellige Teil blau-violett (Abb. 1). Ein sehr enger Ausschnitt des Spektrums wird monochromatisches Licht genannt.
