An adaptive nonlinear robust traffic control

This research is devoted to the problem of an adaptive traffic control at an intersection with a traffic light. The main aim of investigations is to decrease average delays and average queue lengths. Numerical results show that this aim can be achieved by finding a proper algorithm of traffic control. New adaptive algorithm called a complex algorithm (CA) is introduced and analyzed in this paper. Connections between CA and known algorithms are established.
