Conclusion and Recommendation

The major emphasis, to tackle the natural hazard impacts in Bihar, has been given on preparedness. As disaster occurs only when Hazards meet the vulnerable people, it provides us the clue that minimizing the vulnerabilities of the people is the best way to reduce the impact of Natural disasters on all of us. The modern concept of managing a disaster is to manage the root causes of the disaster much before it appears in front of us. This is the insight of preparedness.
