Comparison of Image Segmentation using Different Color Spaces

An image is worth thousands words” this is totally true as the scene is captured by images without loss of perceptual information. And for any scene, colors are indispensable components. Thus for better display of color face images a comparative study between different color spaces was carried out. The study involves three color spaces. Our purpose is to identify the best color space, if there is any, for color image segmentation process.
