The invention provides a multi-target far and near field mixed source positioning method under unknown colored noise, and belongs to the field of array signal processing. The method comprises the steps: receiving a target signal through employing a symmetric uniform linear sensor array; determining the types of observation signals of far and near field mixed sources; calculating a covariance matrix of array observation data; extracting far-field and near-field source components; obtaining a corresponding noise subspace, and achieving the estimation of a far-field source azimuth angle; obtaining a near-field source difference matrix; obtaining a corresponding signal subspace; searching an estimated near-field source azimuth angle through a one-dimensional angle; substituting the estimated near-field source azimuth angle into a two-dimensional MUSIC spectrum peak search, and achieving the estimation of a near-field source distance. The method is advantageous in that the method improves the applicability of the far and near field mixed source positioning technology to complex noises, avoids an introduced additional deviation in a separation process, improves the near-field source positioning performance, avoids two-dimensional spectrum peak search, and achieves the automatic matching of angle and distance.
