INTERFACING OF PHILLIPS µCONTROLLER WITH MAXIM CHIP FOR POWER MEASUREMENT BY SPI COMMUNICATION

This paper presents a measurement system of 3 phase power supply system using MAXIM chip MAXQ3183 and Philips microcontroller P89V5RD2. Hardware is created to sense the voltage and current from three phase supply and fed to MAXIM chip. Further, Microcontroller communicates to this chip through SPI communication to display the measured data on LCD screen and PC. This setup is capable to monitor the various parameters of supply with tamper proof capability
