Event-triggered consensus for double-integrator multi-agent systems

In this paper, event-triggered control strategies are proposed for the consensus problem of first-order and second-order multi-agent system. The control law be updated only when the event-triggered conditions are satisfied. It is shown that the proposed control strategies guarantees the average consensus of the system. Moreover, the inter-event intervals are lower-bounded by a positive constant. The results are illustrated through simulation examples.
