All-optical WDM multicast scheme for supporting emergency multicast communication in WDM optical access network based on FWM in SOA

We propose an all-optical WDM multicast scheme for supporting emergency multicast service in WDM-OAN based on FWM in SOA. One-to-eight 10 Gb/s NRZ-DPSK WDM multicasts have been successfully transmitted over 10 km fiber in the case of FWM occurring in OLT and RN.
