The no-center self-supporting GPS vehicle alarm method and device includes mainly setting a characteristic memory in the vehicle equipment to store the position information of several characteristic points, and a CPU to receive the outer information and judge to understand the present position of the vehicle, to compare the position with the stored position information of the characteristic points, to select the nearest characteristic point as reference point, to calculate the distance of the vehicle to the reference point and to transmit the said information to the vehicle owner so that theowner can receive the alarm information and understand the vehicle position for further measures.
