Few-mode fiber based Raman distributed temperature sensing over 25 km with link optimization and wavelet-denoising

We demonstrate a few mode fiber based Raman distributed temperature sensor with wavelet-denoising technique and optimized sensing link. Temperature sensing over 25 km with 3m/7.5 °C spatial /temperature resolution is achieved.
