Risk Assessment Based Cloudification

Design for resiliency always needs a proper trade-off between dependability of a system, and cost overhead. Cloud computing offers surplus resources at a favorable cost, thus modular redundancy based solutions became affordable for a broad spectrum of applications. The paper aims at a risk model based assessment of the benefit of applying redundant cloud resources.
