Abstract : This report describes the results of the Workshop on Dependably Upgrading Critical Systems held April 16-17,1997 at the Software Engineering Institute. The workshop addressed a broad spectrum of issues associated with dependably and cost-effectively upgrading systems, primarily those with reliability or real-time requirements.
