Environmental vibration induced by vehicle in complicated field

A numerical method combining vehicle vibration theory with viscous boundary finite element method(FEM) was presented for simulating propagation paths of waves induced by a moving vehicle in complicated field. The FEM model of vehicle-road-complicated field system was built to calculate the vibration response of the field with different vehicle running conditions and isolation ditches. The influence of vehicle vibration on environment was also evaluated. The results show that the reaction forces of vehicles running on an uneven road surface increases with increasing vehicle loading, while the dynamic magnification coefficient decreases. The reaction force and dynamic magnification coefficient increase with increasing vehicle running speed and road surface roughness.Isolation ditch can effectively reduce the acceleration response of field induced by the vehicle vibration, but may reduce the stability of running vehicles.
