Acoustical characterisic of the shinden-zukuri and shoin-zukuri: A System That Reproduces the Sound Environment of a Classical House to Experience It Retroactively

The structure of a room is changing with the times. As a result, the acoustic characteristics of rooms are also changing. The history of architectural structures is sometimes preserved in detail. However, these changes in the sound environment can only be reproduced from the actual materials used historically. I think that reproducing the sounds of the building structures of the past will help supplement the culture of that era. In addition, we expect this development to be an amenity that enhances the feel of history by reproducing the sound. In this study, based on the data, we analyzed the acoustics of the dunes made before Muromachi(AD1338 — 1573), which were the basis of Japanese houses.
