Opinion dynamics with the different community and individual characteristics

Recently,a lot of opinion dynamic models were proposed and applied to specific network structure. However, few dynamic models focused on the difference analysis that combines community and individual characteristics. In order to reveal features of opinion propagation on networks with community structures,a dynamic model with two communities is presented which takes into account the differences in community structures, evolution rules and individual characteristics. In the model,a set of parameters are defined to quantify such differences, and their effect on public propagation trends is studied by means of computer simulation. The experimental results show the following conclusions. If external public relations abilities between the two communities are equal, strengthening communities' internal public relations ability would result in an positive effect. However,if the community with better external public relations ability strengthens its internal public relations ability,it would obtain an opposite result; In addition, both communities' external public relations ability and the opinion leader play a significant role in guiding opinion propagation, however, opinion leader's personal effect is hard to fight against the overall advantage of the communities' external public relations ability.
