Metaheuristic Approaches for the Winner Determination Problem in Combinatorial Auction

Many problems in combinatorial optimization are NP-Hard. This has forced researchers to explore meta-heuristic techniques for dealing with this class of complex problems and finding an acceptable solution in reasonable time.
