Analysis of Noncoherent Dual-Source Jamming on Monopulse Radar

The noncoherent dual source interference model for simulating the angle deception of monopulse radar was constructed. Affected by random phase error of the dual sources, the antenna pointing was analyzed when the power ratios of the dual sources were different. The noncoherent dual source could effectively cause angle measuring error of the angle tracking system. The interference effect could be e- qual to the coherent dual source interference in that the phase error is π/2. When the power of dual sources is equal, the radar antenna follows the power centroid; otherwise, it will follow neither the power centroid nor the higher power source, but a point between them.
