Formation of patterns from complex networks

We propose a method for visualization of the characteristic feature of complex networks, which displays their static structures, growing processes, and flows on the networks. The method is based on appropriate coloring of edges of network graphs. Applying the method on models of complex networks and some real-world networks, we show several characteristic patterns in many aspects of networks. These patterns are varied by controlling some parameters for the networks, or the network models themselves.
