Parallel efficient method of moments exploiting graphics processing units

In this article we adopt the graphical processing units as a low-cost and efficient solution of challenging electromagnetic numerical problems. Based on the compute unified device architecture, an optimized method of moments algorithm has been implemented which adopts direct solvers based on LU decomposition. Numerical results obtained on the practical case of a patch antenna analysis demonstrate the high performance of the approach. V C 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
