Pre-determination of performances in dynamic regime by numerical methods at direct current motors

The performances of an electrical machine can be described by the dynamic and energetic characteristics, on one hand, and by the gauge dimensions, on the other hand. The minimum and maximum operation speed, the speed range, the answer time, the noise level, the reliability and, a last important aspect, the cost price are decisive elements for the economic and technical success of a constructive solution of a motor. This can be carried out with the help of the electronic computer on the basis of some adequate programs, leading to an economic building and utilization of the driving electrical equipment having direct current motors used for robots. The motor behaviour is studied when supplying with a voltage varying by an imposed law, at constant or variable resistant torque etc., by taking into consideration that in such cases the machine inductances are variable with the magnetic saturation. In this paper computer simulations and experimental determinations are performed in order to establish the performances of the drives having direct current motors, in dynamic regime.
