Analyzing In-Place Concrete Tests by Computer

The research objectives here were twofold: to create a real-time system to automate the complicated statistical computations for in-place concrete evaluation; and to develop a scheme to facilitate the management and use of data and statistical results for in-place concrete strength evaluation. A prototype computer system named "In-Place Concrete Test Analysis and Correlation" (INPLACE) has been developed. The system has three modules: (1) the Laboratory Module, (2) the Correlation Database Module, and (3) the In-Place Module.
