Research and Realization of QoS Mechanism of EPON Network

Due to the high bandwidth demand by communication service,network evoles from copper line to optical fiber.EPON,as a new type of optical access network and integrating the advantages of PON and Ethernet,becomes an effective method to solve the problem of "the last one kilometer"and a high-bandwidth access technology suitable for transfering IP service.In view of these,this paper analyzes the theory and QoS of EPON,and makes the in-depth study and analysis on how to realize the QoS configuration of relevant equipments.Finally this paper summarizes the method and mode of equitpments configuration.
