Predictive Control of Torque and Flux of Induction Motor Drives

In this paper, the torque ripples in low speed range of conventional direct torque control are analysed, and the strategy of predictive control of torque and/or stator flux is presented. A new vector selection table based on area voltage is proposed to control the torque and flux. In this case, two predictive control schemes are presented to reduce torque ripples and improve the steady and dynamic performance. Finally, The effectiveness of new strategies is verified by the simulation and experimental results
