Bra fitting assessment and alteration

Abstract This chapter introduces the most up-to-date industrial processes and the state-of-the-art technology used to diagnose bra fit and alter patterns. Both a fundamental understanding and advanced knowledge of bra-fitting concepts are explained with practical examples. The roles and job requirements of the fit team members are clearly specified. A fit comment template and methods to interpret fitting problems and causes are also provided for reference. Pattern alternation can be constructional, nonconstructional, or a minor change. Detailed steps involved in typical cases of bra pattern alteration also are demonstrated.
