Slovak Automatic Transcription and Dictation System for the Judicial Domain

This paper describes the design, development and ev aluation of the Slovak dictation system for the jud icial domain. The speech is recorded using a close-talk microphone and the dict ation system is used for online or offline automati c transcription. The system provides an automatic dictation tool for Slovak peo l working in the judicial domain, and can in futu re also function as an automatic transcription tool that significantly decreases the processing time of audio recordings from court roo ms. Technical details followed by the evaluation of the system are discussed.
