Clementine UVVIS Global Mosaic: A New Tool for Understanding the Lunar Crust

Introduction: A 100 m/pixel 5 band global mosaic of the Moon from Clementine UVVIS data has been completed at USGS-Astrogeology with help from Applied Coherent Technology, Brown Univ., Lawrence Livermore National Lab, Northwestern Univ., RAND, University of Arizona, University of Hawaii. This provides our first uniform global view of compositional variations on the Moon at high spatial resolution.
