Sobre el uso operativo de Landsat-7 ETM+ en Europa

This paper summarises the main technical problems detected on the acquisition and processing of all Landsat-7 ETM+ 1G images available over Catalonia for the year 2002 (54 consecutive images), including aspects not documented on the scientific or technical literature. This experience may be very useful to the large community of users because we introduce issues on the reading of the original CEOS format (the richest on metadata), and on geometric and radiometric processing. For example, we should be aware about the implications beyond the LPGS generation system concerning the different grid origin of the panchromatic versus multispectral bands or concerning the radiometric correction parameters on the header files, as well as some problems on the gain coefficients among dates or the presence of different DN values for homologous pixels of equal date and path but different row.
