Interchangeability and Service Parts

In relation to interchangeability and its importance to manufacturers the author covers areas including service parts and assembly, form and function, as well as giving a number of examples of interchangeability. There is then a section on the need (or not) to change part numbers, followed by detailed discussion of interchangeability in the PCB manufacturing industry.
