강제재생용 경유버너의 점화특성에 관한 연구

To meet stringent diesel particulate matter regulations, diesel particulate filter(DPF) is the best solution. Passive type DPF system is not able to regenerate for low load driving conditions. Therefore, this system is required to forcibly burn the particulate held in the DPF. One effective method of active DPF regeneration is to burn soot by using diesel burner. Although active diesel burner is useful tool to regenerate DPF, there are shortcomings related to ignition. Because ignition is seriously affected by oxygen density which varies with engine load, it is important to know the effect of oxygen density on ignition. In this study, it was found that oxygen density is a main key to start ignition and should be more than 15% for normal ignition of active diesel burner.
