Learning to E-learn Project: Rediscovering the Benefits of E-Learning

This paper examines the Learning to E-learn project and its findings. It asks why any corporate e-learning intervention should involve a unified approach to learning, performance, knowledge, service and change management. The paper will confirm how findings from the 26-month research phase of the project have been translated into major consultancies in corporations and educational providers. This has resulted in the research being refined to five major variables that should guide all stages of the e-learning design and delivery process. The paper will examine why the management of e-learning design and delivery must transcend beyond content and e-training-centric paradigms and be implemented as a strategic activity within community and business organisations.
