The Principle of Sigma-Delta ADC Chip and Its Application in High Precise Temperature Measurement

The principle of sigma-delta ADC chip is introduced. The main problems in precise measurement of thermistor temperature and approaches to resolve them are discussed.A low cost high performance solution for precise temperature measurement,which utilizes a AD7711 and a microchip,is proposed.
