A schensted-type correspondence for the symplectic group

Abstract The Schensted correspondence is closely related to the decomposition of V ⊗ n as a GL(V) -module. In this paper we obtain an analogous correspondence related to the decomposition of V ⊗ n as an Sp(V) -module.
