Method for conrolling write power of optical disk

A recording voltage controlling method of an optical disk is provided to be capable of performing a recording process by increasing a recording voltage if a jitter value and an address detection value are not included in preset values after an OPC(Optimum Power Control) process is conducted, thus address detection performance is improved in case of controlling the recording voltage of an optical disk. An OPC process of an optical disk is performed to obtain a recording voltage, and the voltage is recorded in a random address area of the disk(S10-S14). A PI value of an ECC(Error Correction Code) error and a jitter value are obtained from a reproduced RF(Radio Frequency) signal in a recording area of the disk(S16). If the jitter value and the PI value are not included in a preset range, an address value is detected in preset length of the RF signal(S18,S20). If the detected address value is not a normally preset address value, the recording voltage is highly controlled so that the jitter value, the PI value, and the address value are detected within the preset range altogether(S22,S24). The controlled OPC recording voltage is recorded in a next address area of the disk(S26-S30).
