Design Method of AMB Controller Based on the Current Distribution

Active magnetic bearing (AMB) is a complex system which integrates mechanism, electricity and magnetism. Aimed at the asymmetry and strong coupling bearing structure, a design method of controllers based on the current distribution of bearing magnetic poles is suggested in this paper. This method divided the customary controller into two parts: the feedback adjuster and current distributor so the design of controller is predigested. In this paper, the current distributor is discussed, and it is applied to a cone magnetic bearing system,while the distributor is designed.
