The Impacts of a Computerized Information System on the Integration and Coordination of Human Services.

T his article is concerned with the concept of services integration. For some time it has been recognized that there is a pressing need for more efficient delivery of human services. In pointing up this need critics often refer to such problems as unresponsive bureaucracy, fragmented delivery, overlap in goals, duplication of services, and poor planning and evaluation processes. Some feel that a partial solution to such problems is the integration of human services.
