Analytical model and parameters determination of interaction between buried pipe and soil

Its necessary to consider interaction between buried pipe and soil when analyzing its structure between pipe and soil, which comes down to the determination of contact stress distribution on the interface. Thus, on the basis of measured data of stress characteres of buried pipe, a composite model for analyzing interaction between pipe and soil and a method for determination of its related parameters are presented. For the apparent effect of relative stiffness between pipe and soil as well as that between pipe and foundation on distributed stress on interface between pipe and soil, the paper adjusts parameters of the model by taking use of measured data. So influence of pipe stiffness can be taken in consideration in this interaction model as a result.
