Reminiscences about Wernher von Braun

During the time period 1960 to 1966 the author was a member of the SATURN space launch vehicle development team at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. He describes his involvement in the investigation of a potential panel flutter problem on the SATURN space launch vehicles which gave him an opportunity to observe Dr. von Braun’s engineering leadership methods. Details of the nature of the panel flutter problem and the methods used for its resolution are presented.
