Structural development of a battery test bed's management software for long-term measurements

This Paper describes the structural development of a management software for battery test bed. This test bed is designated for long-term measurements in order to investigate the features of various types of batteries. The management system allows a cyclization of the batteries including periodical measurements. These measurements include an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Details of the EIS and its changes in the course of time can be used for a better understanding of the battery and alongside for improvements of battery state observers as well as for improvements of the cell itself. The demands of a long term measurement cyclization including measurement processes are illustrated.
