Resource Provisioning for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA)-based Virtual Passive Optical Networks (VPON)

A virtualization mechanism of passive optical networks (PON) based on optical orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) technologies is introduced. A comparison between two types of resource provisioning schemes for virtual PON is studied.
