According to the physical resource condition of a cloud computing resource pool, an evaluative criteria of the virtual resources is made out, an applier gives out a maximum demand value and the type of the needed resource pool according to the maximum peak season in the running process of a service system, the use rate of a CPU and internal storage and the use condition of an I/O, a network and storage, and after the applier completes demand filling, the system carries out computation. Parameters of the computation method relate to the CPU, the internal storage, the network, the storage, the I/O, the number of virtual machines and the like. The method has the advantages of reducing the change frequency of the resources, improving evaluation validity, the running stability and reliability of the service system and the like.
