Free vibration and flutter of laminated quadrilateral plates

Abstract Free vibration and flutter of laminated quadrilateral plates with clamped edges have been investigated in this paper. Differential equations of motion in quadrilateral coordinates are derived and solved by the use of the integral equation technique. The results of free vibration analysis and flutter are compared with the values given in the available references. The behaviour of trapezoidal plates with different numbers of layers has been studied.
