Optimized Integration of Solar PV Energy on to Telecom Power Systems for DC and A/C buses or Energy Storages with proposed Converters to make them as profit centers

Integrate Solar PV in scalable on to the grid connected and standalone power generation system has increased attention in these days due to its sustainability and greener generation. This has become a good option to reduce the telecom Radio Base Stations utility power consumption. The techno economic feasibility of Solar PV integration methodologies in to On-Grid telecom base stations, basically in to the DC bus by rectifier systems comprising of inbuilt DC to DC converting Solar PV charger controllers, excess renewable energy in to a Li Ion energy storages or in to the A/C bus through grid tie inverter system facilitate with “Net metering”, or combinations are discussed in this paper. Finally, this paper discusses ultimate challenge which is techno economically doable by making A/C to DC converting Rectifier Modules in Hybrid Controllers in to Bi Directional Converters with grid tie facility to convert telecom base stations in to profit centers by facilitating grid services.
