Optimizing Control Algorithms of the Magnetic Levitation System Based on the State Observer

The linear model of the magnetic levitation system was built. The controller of the system was designed based on the optimal control theory. A state observer of the system was formed based on symmetry root locus (SRL) method. The mass of the model was uncertain; when the system was running on to the slope, the strike of the rail to the system can not be neglected. The traditional control algorithms wouldn't solve these problems effectively. The methods using state observer to optimize the control algorithms was given here. Simulation results show that it work well
