궤도검측차(EM-30) 거리오차 최소화를 위한 연구

Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit corporation(SMRTc), which operates Seoul subway line No. 5, 6, 7, 8, is using the Track Recording Car(EM-30) to inspect track facilities. It has been operated by the contact method to measure Gauge, Cant, Alignment and Surface since EM-30 was introduced in 1995, and additionally equipped with Rail Wear Measuring System(the non-contact method) since 2005. The distance is calculated from the number of revolutions of the encoder wheel, and the cumulative distance information indicates the position of the track irregularities. However, quite a big distance error between the location EM-30 indicates and the actual location to fix occurs so frequently that the staff has difficulties inspecting and maintaining the track on the spot. As regards to this, SMRT has been making a big improvement to maintain track facilities by minimizing distance error through developing the shapes of the encoder wheel, which is accompanied with analyzing distance error status, the features of EM-30, and the correlation between partial side wear and the encoder wheel.
