Application Research of Fiber Optic Repeater plus Delay Module Technology in Large-scale Railway Marshalling Station

Using GSM-R technology in railway shunting operation can be useful to overcome many shortcomings in traditional 400 MHz wireless communication,achieve simultaneous transmission of both the speech sound and railway shunting instruction,fulfill paperless transmission of railway shunting work ticket,meet the requirement of comprehensive automation in railway marshaling station,improve work efficiency and ensure the safety in production.This paper,focusing on the special situation of railway lines in the Xinfengzhen marshalling station,proposed that there should be the fiber optic repeater plus delay module technology used for field intensity coverage in this marshaling station.It is proved by practice that the problems of frequency interference and multi-pass interference between the Xinfengzhen marshalling station and the Zhengzhou- Xi'an railway passenger dedicated line can be solved by using wireless network planning,simulation test and other relevant methods.
