Comparison of radar pulse compression techniques

The aim of this paper is to provide an introduction to principle behind the pulse compression radar. Pulse compression is an important signal processing technique used in radar system to reduce the peak power of a radar pulse by increasing the length of pulse, without sacrificing the range resolution associated with a shorter pulse. In this paper, the pulse compression technique will be described and compared.
