Analysis for the Effect of Genetic Operators on the Performance of Immune Algorithm

According to the latest research in priority and deficiency of evolution algorithm and the influence of biologic immunity, a new algorithm-immunity algorithm is advanced. The immunity algorithm is one stochastic heuristic algorithm which designs under the inspiration of the immunity system identifying diversity, whose parameters and operational realizations have the tremendous influence to the algorithm performance. This paper discusses the immunity algorithm basing on information entropy and analyzes how performance of the algorithm is affected by crossover operator and mutation operator. The non-uniform mutation operator of genetic algorithms is introduced to the immune algorithm; the effectiveness of the improved algorithm is examined by the simulated experiments.
