Design of Stream Cipher Based on Sub- shift of Finite Type on Symbolic Space

In this paper,the sub-shift of finite type determined by a class of N×N(0,1)- matrix A on the (one-sided) symbolic space ∑N is used to design a stream cipher.At the same time,the technique employed the extension of irrational number for increasing complexity of the key stream is presented.The result of statistic test of the key stream has been approved and the simulation implies the algorithm is provided with favorable security and validity.
